$2.8 Billion in Waste Terminated – The DOGE Is on the Hunt
Government Waste Is Finally on the Chopping Block
While the media obsesses over distractions, something remarkable is happening behind the scenes in Washington:
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), created by President Trump earlier this year, has just helped agencies terminate over $2.8 BILLION in wasteful federal contracts. That’s not just talk - it’s action.
In just the last week, DOGE oversaw the cancellation of 230 taxpayer-funded boondoggles, saving an estimated $407 million. These weren’t minor cuts. These were absurd, bloated programs like:
A USDA-funded “Mexico Sustainable Landscapes Consultant”
A Treasury contract for “Mentoring Services in Haiti”
Ask yourself: What does that have to do with helping American citizens? Nothing.
Thanks to DOGE, we now have a clear picture of how deep the rot goes:
🔹 11,700+ federal contracts TERMINATED
🔹 15,500+ federal grants SLASHED
🔹 Total savings so far: $44 billion
🔹 Estimated taxpayer savings: $1,180 per citizen
This is exactly why President Trump created DOGE - to shine a light on the fraud, waste, and abuse that’s run unchecked for decades.
And the establishment is terrified.
This week, the Senate votes on whether to rescind $9.4 billion in public media and foreign aid. That includes the full defunding of PBS and NPR, long-time bastions of leftist propaganda masquerading as “public service.”
President Trump has drawn a clear line:
“Any Republican that votes to allow this monstrosity to continue broadcasting will not have my support or Endorsement.”
We agree. It’s time for our side to act boldly, cut the waste, and put America First again.
But we can’t do this alone.
